Comic Book Resources, the premier online comics magazine, has written a rave review of David Mazzucchelli’s Asterios Polyp, on sale July 7.
The article goes on to say that Asterios Polyp “is, undoubtedly, a major work of graphic narrative. A true graphic novel in a way that so few comics-with-spines really are.”
I just finished Asterios Polyp. Amazing. It shows that Mazzucchelli truly IS the thinking comicker’s artist. Touching, funny, sad, deep. Read it.
